I’ve come to LOVE going to events! Not only do I get to help out and learn about some truly amazing organizations. I also get to get out and meet new people! This is super helpful in my journey to remember how to talk to adults and not just a toddler 🙂 How lucky am I that I get to not only work from home with my kiddo, but when I do decided to get out, I get to try to make the world a better place!
Help me change the world! I’m always looking for new events. If you are running an event and want me, or someone from my team there, let’s chat!

Past Events & Fundraisers
Not long after I joined Usborne Books & More I was introduced a couple of lovey ladies who were putting on a fundraiser for sweet baby Owen. Owen’s story really hit home for me, and even just thinking about everything that little man and his family are going through I get all choked up, and we’ve never even met! Having a little one around the same age as Owen, my heart goes out to his family, and all the families who are dealing with so much. Owen is the true definition of a fighter! He has survived 4 heart surgeries, 2 strokes, and 5 heart caths, and most recently had a pacemaker put in! So much strength in such a little package! I’m so grateful that I was able to do a very, very small part in helping raise $10k for his family!
In October I had a pop-up shop at Innsbrook’s Pumpkin Palooza! This was the 9th annual Pumpkin Palooza and this year
it was benefiting the CAMERON K. GALLAGHER FOUNDATION! The Cameron K. Gallagher Foundation is a beacon of hope for those who are affected by teenage mental illness. They help empower teens and their families to proactively take care of their mental health, and to seek help when they need it.
Another pop-up event I was able to be apart of was the RVA 5k race for kids! This years RVA 5k Greater Richmond Fit4Kids was dedicated to improving children’s health and reducing the prevalence of childhood obesity in the Richmond regions by offering innovative programs that promote physical activity and healthy eating in schools, community organizations and beyond.
